Post-graduate 2008: Designing and Leading Emergent Change

Design of the program

In person sessions will include a mix of lecture, case studies, experiential application, individual and small group exercises, and personal reflection.

For the in-between session work, small groups will be formed and guided by one of the instructors. Participants will have application assignments based on and appropriate to their individual situations that will be shared with the small group acting as shadow consultants.

A program design team of participants will be formed to work with the instructors to help guide and shape the evolution of the program.

The program is based on a “partnership” approach regarding the learning structure and process, the relationship between faculty and participants, and as an attitude of engagement with clients. We will emphasize learning by choice, joint design and experimentation and working with real time examples as much as possible.
